Can we use 512 bump of mercury and 256 bump from e-ram of different FSB together?

Can we use 512 bump of mercury and 256 bump from e-ram of different FSB together?

In most cases you can mix and game, but you will suffer a preformance lost. If at all possible hang on to like RAM together. With that said it is better to hold a little slower RAM that remarkably little RAM that is valid fast.

I would opt for 768 mb of mismathed RAM exceptionally 256mb of a little faster RAM. You will pick up preformance beside the extra RAM.

Go for it.
as long as the numbers on the memory are the same you them.Never use mismatched memory.also if the numbers are impossible to tell apart make sure you install the larger bump in the front sockets and smaller astern it.

BY numbers i mean IE: notebook 600 pc 800 etc. you can use different brands as long as its indistinguishable.
yup., as long has they own the same pins., but if you 256mb is slower while the speed of the 512 is nifty., the speed of the 512mb will slow down and match the speed of the 256mb or vice versa
yes, you can; but the lower FSB will works.

e.g. 533 & 677 the 667 RAM will also work on 533 FSB.
some time they will work but some times they will not work so check and install the ram most of the time they will not work at all.
