Computer - clicking noise?

my computer repeatedly makes clicking noise on its own, I can be in another room and it will lately start making these clicking noises - any accepted wisdom?

Computer - clicking noise?

Could be a fan beside bearings that are wearing out or a significant amount of disk hum (disk head clicking). If you are comfortable pipe your case you might know how to more easily determine the motive. Hopefully it is just the hanger-on as they are cheaper and don't involve restoring the OS/data.
its your hard drive. the bearing tend to get worn within the hard drive and will sometimes build noise approaching this.
whats it doing when the noise starts? If its only sitting there, later your fans may want to be replaced/repiared. If your running a program (any program other than something close to office, or something that can run minus going back to the sturdy drive) then your strong drive may need replaced, if thats the armour do it soon because it would really bite if you lost everything you had save on there.
sometimes its your moniter it may do that you might want to presume about getting another one.
