Can anyone answer this for me?

I'm trying to defrag my computer. but when I try too a skylight pops up and says disk deframenter have detected that chkdsk is scheduled to run on the volume: HP_Pavilion(c) Please run chkdsk/f.I tried that, but it want work... I don't hold a f disk

Can anyone answer this for me?

the f stands for fix errors on the disk
restart the computer and it might try to do the chk dsk then. And later try the defrag.
Boot your computer in not dangerous mode and run a defrag
chkdsk/f is an old Microsoft software programme that if truth be told checks for problems on your hard drive. The /f increment, is telling the programme to fix any problems that it may find.

Get your computer into a dos mode and type within chkdsk/f

exactly as it appears.
What that notice is recitation you is the next time you boot, chkdsk will check the C: drive for errors. This occur because the operating system's will not allow exclusive access to the drive while the system is operating. It's a security article, and not a problem. Reboot and you will get a black blind with an prospect to skip the chkdsk, let it run. This will correct any errors that are contained by the master boot record. Defrag uses the Master Boot Record during the defragmentation process and will trigger the chkdsk requirement if it detects errors within the MBR. Probably more than you wanted to know but it's average. I would suggest run disk cleanup first, get the trash first, next defag.
