Can i use a computer moniter minus the desktop and merely use it for my xbox 360?

Yes you can, but it must hold a VGA adapter, as a matter of certainty, that's what I use! However, the largest screens arn't more than voice...25 inches. Mine is 23 inches. Here are some great desktop computers that function as a TV:

if your x box have a video card with a serial port that fits the monitor it should work.
Yup, I hold mine hooked to my 24 Dell. If your monitor does not have component input, you can simply buy the VGA cable complement (it's a microsoft-distributed 360 accessory) and connect it straight to your monitor. Make sure that you go to Settings contained by your xbox and get the resolution correct so that it doesn't stretch weirdly.
why spend money on an xbox 360 when you can bring back it for free? just dance to this site and complete a few quick tasks and they'll convey you one - at no charge!
