Can you remove a complicated drive from a computer beside out losing its memerey of every entity on it approaching files?

yup, i took my knotty drive out from my old computer, consent to it sit for a couple days while my new computer come, then plugged it into my unsullied computer and was competent to access the files perfectly fine.
yes it's storage of files last untill YOU erase it.
Yes, you can, and no it won't lose data. Having said that, trade name sure you do not store it where here is magnets laying around. Also, you should store it within an anti static bag, if you are departing it out of a computer for any length of time.
Sure easy.

Shut down the computer.

Remove the power cord.

Wait almost a min. press the power button several times.

Observe static precautions.

Open the cover.

Remove the drive.

Copy the info on the drive cover.

This procedure will safely remove the drive next to no information lost.

Installing it on another computer is a different procedure.

Post again for that.

But include if it will be the primary or secondary drive and where on earth you want the OS to reside.

Also helpful are the product model and serial # of the machines you are working with.

In anything methodical involves information the more the better.
