Computer booting problems?

My other computer is turning on but not booting up, roughly the fans are going but that's it.

Also it will not hardboot down and to turn it past its sell-by date i have to hit the switch on the backbone.

This computer's not had any problems approaching this before. I be switching out a graphics card because mine was frail and i thought it was dying. I put my older card in and such and still same problems.

PLEASE back

Computer booting problems?

Throw back contained by your old video card, if it works consequently, it's -probably- your new video card is any

1. Eating up too much power

--You'd need a better power supply to fix this

2. Not working properly - suggest you transport it back and achieve a different one

3. Might not be hooked up right (or the monitor isn't)

If it doesn't work with the outmoded video card, put up a message
try a different hard drive, but for, you probably blew your processor. that SUCKS. next time put a bigger adherent in at hand and keep it verbs of dust, and try to keep it COOL.
Are you getting sound the horn codes at boot time? What you might hear is a variable series of long/short beep. Write them down and look at the documentation for your motherboard. It may pinpoint the problem. Otherwise, try booting up using the installation CD.
