BIOS update for HP Pavilion 8513 Desktop?

I am currently on



Harrier Motherboard BIOS Update HP Pavilion 8513 Desktop PC (AP)

Board: Asus P2BVT 1.02

BIOS: Phoenix Technologies LTD 1.07 01/11/00

Harrier 1.07



but I am have 2 problems.



1. The PCI Ethernet card is have a Code 10 error, I tried diff branded

ethernet card and updated drivers but it still don't work



2. The Floppy 3.5 drive don't work as ably.



Do you know what is wrong?



I would like to know what chipset my system is base on?



Can I use Kestral 1.16 bios instead?



Is there any better compatible BIOS available?

If there's a newer BIOS for your 8513, you should be capable of download it from HP. When computers have two or more problems at equal time it might mean it's time for tech support
