just now i found that whenever i start my computer all my bios setting (obviously time setting) return with to default. i suspect it is my freestyle running out of power but...
this problem occured when i took out the battery to be used on other computer for a while(which is out of battery)...and next put back to my own mobile..and the problem continues from there..
so i would approaching to know if there is any other pretext behind this problem???
is it replacing my freestyle will really solve my problem???
Bios setting catch to non-attendance when i sympathetic my computer.?
Well, it's either the freestyle or the Cmos jumper.
If you checked the battery-operated and it still has a charge it's noticeably the Cmos jumper.
The Cmos pullover will have 3 prongs coming out of your motherboard near a jumper. When the pullover is over the left side, or right side it any resets the cmos when the computer is booted, or keeps the settings.
The location of the pullover is in your motherboard almanac. If you have a pre-built PC it prob. didn't come next to a manual.
You can any search online for the motherboard encyclopaedia or call the entrepreneur.
If the jumper is set right and your freestyle is good consequently your bios is corrupt. I would check the warranty on the board and return it. If it's un-returnable , go to the mobo manufacturer's website and flash the bios near the latest bios.
