i get this pc it keep freezing on me even b4 i get it to start up right it say this- invalid VxD dynamic link name from C0262A31 to divice B70F service C3D2

and some othe stuff i was wondering if some could sustain me out with some devout edvice? most of the time i got to start it within safe mode and try get to my comuter icon consequently something comes up and i got to turn it stale and try again .. i was trying to reformat it .. do you chew over i should do that?

You cannot format the drive with the system running, you have need of a bootable floppy with the format utility on it. Go to bootdisk.com and download the one for the system your going to install.

That form of error can be a lot of different things, but necessarily it is telling you in attendance are corrupt or missing drivers that are system critical and it would be easier to reinstall than trouble shoot. Because of the age of the system, I assume it is win95 or 98. Either of these OS's should be easy to find for free.

If you are planning on using it on the Internet, I would recommend win2000. It will run on elder hardware with okay performance and you can still gain the service packs and financial guarantee updates.
