A contemporary laptop...?

heys...im thinking of buying a spanking new pc motive the one i have really sux...so im working on a p4 2.4ghz 1024ddr2 run into and a 256mb ati radeon 9600...any suggestions?i need pretty much the best it can seize...i was thinking sth similar to a quad core amd and some 8gb ram adn a double ati 512mb graphics card...but im really confused beside the rest...which motherboard and what kind of power supply and which cooler.?

the workstation u have the in a minute is a gd 1, if its sluggish and slow then try reformatting it and installing window again, it Will b as Gd as new :P if u r looking for a top of the breadth, your better of with a quad core, next to a Gd amount of ram, and a Gd graphics card and nearly 1000 gig hd and a few dvd/cd recorder thers is nothing else to verbs about power supply's n that.
