LOL I get this memory when I bought the motherboard-cpu combo 3 years ago. I didn't know the voltage difference till now. because I'm looking to grasp more memory and read the specs for the board(2.5V) and I wonder what kind of memory I get in in attendance now.
I found it on the company's website(good piece I kept the invoice with the element # on it), and it says its 2.6v. No problems next to working, but wonder if its actually is as it suppose to.
2.6V memory working a motherboard that lone accommodate 2.5V. Will the 2.6v run different from specs?
it will be fine adjectives electronics have to stumble upon a tollerance level of + or - a certtain percentage 1 tenth of a volt is not going to clear any diffrence.
If it works, then it's probably fine. The voltage is just slightly off, and likelihood are it's still within the actual spec.
If it's running, it's congregation specs (it will either work or not work ... there's not really an contained by between with digital hardware).
