What's the difference betw: AMD AthlonTM 64 X2 Dual-Core 4000+ and Pentium(R) D Processor 925 beside Dual Core
The AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 4000+ is a better and faster processor than the Pentium D processor. The AMD primarily has two processors surrounded by one and is more comparable to Intel Core 2 Duo (which is probably the best processor out, not including quad core).
AMD is cheaper and, I think, easier to return with your hands on if building your own computer!
