386/system/ntkrn/mp.exe?

My Compaq workstation shut down the other day in need warning. I after received this error message. The pc will not reboot from the thorny drive only from a repossession disk I made earlier. What can I do.

386/system/ntkrn/mp.exe?

Just reinstall your system it's a system report that's corrupted thats why it wont boot, if you have win xp disc reboot ur system shift into the bios and change first boot device to cd-rom instead of hd0. Save consequently reboot make sure your win xp disc is surrounded by the drive it should autorun you will get the message to boot from cd-rom hit anykey. Hit the space tablet or anyother key follow on peak promps remeber to format C:\ partition purely do the quick format. if you enjoy any trouble feel free to e:post me and i will help you. OK
look for a topical one
check your computer from viruses (use NOD32)
run a repair install
With little description you give, I can only diminish it to memory problem, try replacing the memory first.
This file should be on your not easy drive located here:

C:\Windows\Driver Cache\i386\ntkrnlmp.exe 2,086 28/02/2007

If it is not there after it can be extracted from:

C:\Windows\Driver Cache\i386\SP2.cab

There are a range of versions of this report but the latest one seem to be the Feb-2007 one that is 2,086 bytes.

See if you can boot surrounded by Safe Mode and try and copy or extract this file to the driver cache folder.
