If you can find a graphics card beside 512 on it for less than $130 I'd buy it ! It's easier said than done pressed to find one with 256 on it for smaller quantity than $130.



As for which would be best for you, you'd have to describe what you're going to be running on your computer. If you're one and only running business applications, you don't need anything more than the memory you already own. If you plan on running the newest, biggest, baddest video games, afterwards the more RAM you have on your card the better.



In truth, you should also check out the speed of the processor on the card and adjectives supported 3D accelerators the card has. Card's useless if you doesn't support the hobby you want to play.
