I be thinking about buying the sims stories but afterwards i looked on the apple site and looked at its requirements and it says mac osx v10.3.9.. would it work if i enjoy a mac osx (just osx nothing more)

Uhm, it's outstandingly unlikely that you have lately Mac OS X (10.0). Click on your Apple icon on the menu at the top and choose About This Mac. It will make clear to you what version of Mac OS X you are using. If it's 10.3.9 or better (like 10.4.x), you're fine.
you mean mac os 10.0.0? click on apple logo and select just about this mac. You should be able to see the the build number underneath the apple logo. If it is less than the required, it will probably not work.
Yes. It is an OSX. Your sims will work on this one.
